Ways Harriet Jacobs struggled against oppression:
1) She had children with a white lawyer so she can escape her owners sexual harrass.
2) she escaped to find a place where she's free.
3) she wrote an autobiography of her slave life so other people can understand how bad is slavery.
4) She organized a medical care facility for the victims of the Civil War.
5) She became a abolitionist with Fredrick Douglass to fight for the freedom of slaves.
6) She start schools for the slaves.
7) Her employer bought her from Norcom and released her as soon as she was bought.
