mary dyer from boston and harriet jacobs from the south are vivid examples of how quakers and slaves were oppressed and discriminated against just because they were female. quaker women and female slave suffered more then men, just because the were women. mary dyer and harriet both had the streanth and courage to fight for their civil rights and freedom. they fought against the intolerance and the sexism racism and the discimiination against them.
